We are all using zoom or Google rooms as a form of communication and our background needs to be more professional to be taken seriously.
Here are three simple steps to get yourself looking smart and professional over Zoom
STEP 1: HOW CAN I IMPROVE MY VIDEO CALL BACKGROUND?
If your dining table is your new office, hang a piece of art behind you—a print would do the trick but frame it well.
Situate the dining table near a window where you have lovely light in your space.
You can also put a floor light that will look good and will also be useful when the day becomes darker.

STEP 2: DIY BACKGROUND FOR VIDEO CONFERENCING
If you own your property, then how about painting the wall in fresh paint. Not saying go wild and paint the room in blue. You can choose a fresh white colour ( there are 50 shades of white and grey, so choose well)

Try to find out how your room is positioned. If it is North or South facing it will determine what shade you should be looking at.
